Vets

What do vets do?

Vets are doctors for animals. They help them to get well again. 95% they succeed 5% they don’t.

What do they do in operations?

Operations are when the animal is put under anesthetic so they can be fixed. Sometimes something has to be removed or put in, like pins for a fracture.

Who does the emergencies?

The emergency vet of course!

Of course there are different vets for the emergencies of different types. An eye emergency would be done by an eye specialist, and so on.

Bondi Vet

 Bondi vet is a program all about Australian vet Dr. Chris Brown and S.A.S.H. emergency vet Lisa Chimes. They help Animals of all shapes and sizes, even snakes!

Vets are extremely useful to people and their animals.

Glossary

ANESTHETIC – A drug used to put animals to sleep for an operation.

BONDI – A big city in Australia.

FRACTURE - A broken bone.  

S.A.S.H.- Small Animal Specialist Hospital.

Horse riding

So , if you want to ride a horse or pony , or simply look after one a horse riding school is the way to go !! i go to one myself it doesn't have a name like most do but its very good. Horses are very good animals to do a lesson with as they are such gentle giants but some can be aggressive so watch out!! And if you do go to a riding school remember your helmet always.

Tell people

I've been thinking why don't people tell others about this blog so can you tell others about this blog pleeeeaaaasssssseeeee for me do that task and if it goes up to 400 you all win a prize but in 4 weeks it should be 400 or no prize!

Catch Up

So ,Ive been a bit out of date as they call it so i'm doing a catch up post so everyone can catch up. I've been going out on a lot of hacks recently and we've been having fun!!!
And sometimes I get hay fever but it goes down a bit afterwards. I'm going to put a answer thing at the bottom so take a look , it's called a poll you fact lovers. Any who i'm of now so remember the poll.Oh one more thing please when you see riders and especially horse rides please slow down for us as it scares the horses terribly so if you do put a  comment on this post!! 

Christmas Horses

Here in the UK we don't usually have snow on Christmas day and some horses like that because the breeds of horse that live on mountains and hills have hard habitats to live in, especially in snow. These horses are built for those types of climate. The breeds that are built for those climates include : Icelandic ,Ardennais, Clydesdale, Missouri Foxtrotter and Rocky Mountain horse. Also have a very happy 2013!!!

How I came to love Horses.

My love for horses started when I went to stick stick glue glue. From then onwards I have loved horses so much. Now I still love horses and ride a dark brown pony called Whiskey every Saturday. Even When I'm at school I think about horses and think about a horse and pony of my own. Up until then I'll keep riding.  When I was little I dreamt of Horses on the shore and in the wild.
